JOB TITLE: CHAIN ASSEMBLER

Three Positions Available

Multi cycle manual/mechanical assembly equipment operator.
We will provide on-the-job training.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires the ability to follow demonstrated steps
  • Requires simple adjusting with liberal tolerances and no fitting
  • Work is typically performed standing at a machine; may include walking or sitting some of the time
  • Good work ethic - eager to learn the manufacturing assembly process
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Dependable - at work on time with little to no lost time
  • No diploma or experience required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Select chain parts according to knowledge of chain being assembled
  2. Set up and operate chain assembly machine
  3. Set up and operate bowl feeder
  4. Assemble chain using work instructions or drawings
  5. Inspect chains for defects in buildup or materials
  6. Maintain clean work area, tools and fixtures

HOURLY WAGE RANGE
$13.00 - $19.00

JOB TITLE: CNC Vertical & Horizontal Machining Center

Experienced Machinist & Operator (1st shift 4-day work week)

Reports To: Sprocket Supervisor

This associate will operate various equipment within a “job shop” environment as well as a diverse background in manufacturing. Someone able to change and adapt to an ever-evolving manufacturing environment, within a small fast-paced family involved organization.  This position requires familiarity with CNC setup, programing, and operation of equipment. Primary responsibility is to ensure the right parts are prepared and delivered to the QC department in a timely manner, while minimizing cost, optimizing efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience machine operator, or related field.
  • Ability to use deductive reasoning and sound decision making.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Highly organized and efficient in daily tasks
  • Ability to meet quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent job attendance history

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position is in a manufacturing plant.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This is primarily a standing position for extended periods of time.
  • This position may require some lifting (up to 75lbs)
  • Bending, standing, reaching with hands/arms as necessary.
  • Overall work environment is in a controlled climate environment.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program, setup, and operation of CNC Milling equipment. Mazak and/or Okuma Multi Axis machining experience a plus.
  • Program experience is a plus. Mazatrol and/or Mastercam preferred.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and take knowledge to produce quality tight tolerance parts as required.
  • Must be able to read calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment.
  • Understanding of speeds & Feeds.
  • Have effective communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Must be willing to do other work duties as required.

HOURLY WAGE RANGE
$22.00-$32.00 based on experience and production capability.

JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTANT (Salary Exempt)

Reports To: Corporate Controller

Purpose: The Accountant is responsible for various financial and accounting tasks within Ramsey Products Corporation. They play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with concentration in accounting required
  2. 3 + years of experience in accounting or finance role preferably in a manufacturing environment
  3. Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills
  4. Ability to work with little or no supervision
  5. Ability to use deductive reasoning and sound decision making
  6. Understanding of costing methods such as job costing and standard costing
  7. Excellent problem resolution skills
  8. Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
  9. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel
  10. Highly organized and efficient in daily tasks
  11. Strong work ethic
  12. Proactive sense of urgency
  13. Timeliness/attendance

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  1. This position is mainly in an office environment of a manufacturing plant
  2. Standard office equipment is used such as computers, phones, and multi-functional devices
  3. May require occasional travel for training or meetings
  4. Overtime may be required during peak periods (e.g., month-end close, audit preparation, Year End)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Financial Recordkeeping: Maintaining and updating financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, commissions, expense reports, all company credit cards, bank reconciliations, and cash applications
  2. Financial Analysis: Preparation of financial statements, such as income statements, 1099’s, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, by gathering and analyzing financial data
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts by collecting and analyzing data, and monitoring actual performance against budgeted figures
  4. Accounts Payable: Processing and monitoring invoices and purchase orders from vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  5. Journal Entries: Recording and reconciling financial transactions, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation, to ensure accurate financial reporting and general ledger
  6. Compliance and Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations (GAAP&IFRS)
  7. Financial Reporting: Preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders including weekly labor reports
  8. Taxation: Assisting with tax-related activities, such as tax audits and sales and use tax, and maintaining tax records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  9. Financial Systems and Software: Utilizing accounting software and financial systems to input and extract data, reconcile accounts, generate reports, and streamline processes and identify inefficiencies
  10. Collaboration and Support: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and procurement, to provide accounting support, resolve issues, and ensure accurate financial data
  11. Project & Planning: Implement paperless credit card process & other projects as assigned.
