RZ3 Silent Chain

Innovative Design with Central Support Tooth for Enhanced Stability

RZ3 Wear Protected Conveying Chain

Ramsey’s RZ3 Conveyor Chain is a silent tooth chain featuring an innovative third tooth positioned centrally within the extended pitch conveying chain link. This additional tooth significantly enhances the chain’s stability by providing extra support and increasing the points of contact with the plate. An enhanced feature of the RZ3 chain design is the innovative flattening of the link-bottom tips, specifically engineered to minimize wear and maximize durability.

The RZ3 chain combines the robust stability of a ½” pitch chain with the superior durability of a 1” extended pitch chain. Its advanced design ensures smooth operation, minimizes wear and elongation, and extends the chain’s lifespan. Additionally, the RZ3 chain features thicker links compared to our standard 2-pin conveyor chains, providing even greater strength and durability.

Primarily utilized in the glass industry for transporting hot glass, the RZ3 chain is also versatile enough for application across various other industries.

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Central Support for Enhanced Stability: The RZ3 chain’s additional tooth provides crucial central support, ensuring unparalleled stability.
  • Flat Tips on the Link Bottom: The flat tips design reduces wear over time.
  • Extended Chain Life: Engineered to reduce wear and elongation, the RZ3 chain offers a longer operational lifespan.
  • Increased Productivity: The robust design minimizes maintenance and downtime, thereby enhancing overall productivity.
  • Thicker Links for Greater Strength: The RZ3 chain’s thicker links offer superior strength and durability compared to standard 2-pin conveyor chains.
