In addition to being wear-resistant, Ramsey’s Lifeguard chain has special interlocking links that create a smooth, gap-free surface and prevent snagging.

Designed to improve conveying chain performance and life, patented Lifeguard® chains utilize unique interlocking side links that not only guard against pin head wear, but also greatly reduce the size of gaps between adjacent side plates. With much smaller gaps between the links, smooth product transfer on and off the conveying surface is assured and the potential for snagging on lateral guides is reduced. As a result, Lifeguard chains can be run in direct contact with lateral guides. in a production conveying environment, these features translate directly to fewer ware handling problems, extended chain life, and improved productivity.

Sizes Available to Fit Most Conveying Systems

All chains operate on 1/2″ pitch standard Ramsey sprockets.

Many Options

Allguard chains are available in 1/2″ pitch, as well as 1″ extended pitch, with widths ranging from less than one inch, to over 20 inches. Chains can be produced with all links, to maximize surface area, or they can be produced from links and spacers to reduce overall weight and enhance cooling. Links can also be double stacked within the chain to achieve better air flow and bottle cooling.

Lifeguard Extended Pitch has fewer moving parts and is ideal for small bottle transport.

Double Guard or Single Guard Options

Lifeguard is available with guard links on one side of the chain, or on both sides of the chain. Single guard chain is less expensive, but double guard provides more complete chain protection.

Special chain buildups and dimensions can be easily accomodated, often with little or no additional cost.
